How and Why to join Tanfield Association

Membership of the Association is open to anyone with a connection to Tanfield School, as it is now known.

Previous names of the school are Stanley Grammar School (1945-1975), Alderman Wood School (1919-1945) and Tanfield Lea Higher Elementary School (1912-1919).

Why Join?
to be kept up to date with the Association's activities;
to receive the thrice yearly Newsletter;
to participate in Association functions;
to provide funds for projects requested by the school and decided on by the Association committee.
