We were very saddened by Marjorie’s death at Sherburn Hall, Durham.
She was a prominent member of the Tanfield Association and loved attending the special events and the monthly lunches where she could chat with friends and talk over old times.
She was a member of the Working Executive who enjoyed playing her part in the organisation of the association.
Always a lively and friendly character, she will be missed by those of us who knew her well.
